Inspiring Stunt Cycling - Danny MacAskill

I am definitely no extreme stunt cycling expert. However I came to know about Danny MacAskill and find his video very inspiring.

While watching his video I can say he cycling style is like doing Parkour on bicylce. Watch it for yourself, than you will know what I am talking about.

He is someone who believe in his dreams and went all the way to make his dream happen. Here a video and some facts about him.

Pro Rider: Danny MacAskill

He released a five-and-a-half-minute stunt cycling video on YouTube on the 19th April 2009, filmed by his flat mate Dave Sowerby. The video featured stunts by MacAskill set to music of the American rock band Band of Horses and their song "The Funeral".

As of April 2009, MacAskill, a twenty-three year old from the Isle of Skye, had been practicing for more than 12 years. He gave up his job as a mechanic so he could ride full time He now lives in Edinburgh. He often listens to music while riding. In June 2009, MacAskill appeared in the music video for Doves' single "Winter Hill". MacAskill also appeared in a Volkswagen TV-commercial for the new Golf.

6 Principles On Money

What is your perspective about money? What is your about perpective about Life? And what is your perspective about Life and Money?

Someone share this 6 principle with me, which I find it has alot of Wisdom in it.

* No point using limited life to chase unlimited money

* No point earning so much money you cannot live to spend it.

* Money is not yours until you spend it.

* When you are young, you use your health to chase your wealth; when you are old, you use your wealth to buy back your health. Difference is that, it is too late.

*
How happy a man is, is not how much he has but how little he needs.

* No point working so hard to provide for the people you have no time to spend with.

Clash of the Titans

I remember many years ago who I was a little boy, my dad brought me to the big screen in 1981 to watch Clash of the Titans. At that time this show was a box office hit, just like George Lucas "Star Wars".

"Clash" was really big back than, and I believe the remaking of this Greek Mythology epic will give the box office a run for the money.

"Clash" will come to the big screen in March 2010, this will be one show that is going to bring back alot of memory for me.

Many personalities in the movies like Zeus, Medusa and Perseus will be interesting for us to look forward too. I will say Clash will be the most anticipated movie of the Year 2010

Christmas Poem

I like to wish everyone read this "Merry Christmas" and a very blessed 2010. I will also like to share this poem with you, which I feel is rather meaningful during this time of the season.

New Christmas Poem

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF
PLASTER AND STONE.

I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO
IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.

I LOOKED ALL ABOUT,
A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE,
NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS,
NOT EVEN A TREE.

NO STOCKING BY MANTLE,
JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND,
ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES
OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.

WITH MEDALS AND BADGES,
AWARDS OF ALL KINDS,
A SOBER THOUGHT
CAME THROUGH MY MIND.

FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT,
IT WAS DARK AND DREARY,
I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER,
ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.

THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING,
SILENT, ALONE,
CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR
IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.

THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE,
THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER,
NOT HOW I PICTURED
A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.

WAS THIS THE HERO
OF WHOM I'D JUST READ?
CURLED UP ON A PONCHO,
THE FLOOR FOR A BED?

I REALIZED THE FAMILIES
THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT,
OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS
WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.

SOON ROUND THE WORLD,
THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY,
AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE
A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.

THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM
EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR,
BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS,
LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.

I COULDN'T HELP WONDER
HOW MANY LAY ALONE,
ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE
IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.

THE VERY THOUGHT
BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES
AND STARTED TO CRY.

THE SOLDIER AWAKENED
AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
'SANTA DON'T CRY,
THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;

I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
I DON'T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD,
MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS.'

THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER
AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN'T CONTROL IT,
I CONTINUED TO WEEP.

I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS,
SO SILENT AND STILL
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED
FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL.

I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE
ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR
SO WILLING TO FIGHT.

THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, 'CARRY ON SANTA,
IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.'

ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH,
AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
'MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,!
AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.'
